While I too, am a big fan of comfort (one of my measures for success was being able to buy 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets without guilt), I have come to learn that too much of it in certain aspects of your life could lead to stagnation.

Still we rise up against the cowards, hiding behind their stature and the red mess they've left on the streets.

Innovations are not always huge and disruptive. Sometimes, all you need to do is to tweak an existing solution to make it even more effective. 

Cheryl Strayed once wrote in her advice column that “The best thing you can possibly do with your life is to tackle the motherf*#king shit out of it.”

I have learned so much from this experience. The first was learning to accept one's defeats with grace, and to focus on what one could still accomplish instead of what one had lost.
