Poetry: Untitled

I write short poems whenever I’m in transit. These are some of the poems that are stored in my phone’s notes.

Wish we could slow-kiss

Into unearthing the truths

that our hearts keep guard.

He caught her mid-flight

and found new worlds, unexplored

Waiting in her eyes.

Taste my stories of bittersweet affairs

Rock me to the sound of the blaring traffic

Indulge me in cries of surrender

I'll likely forget by morning.
